*.* Updates *.*

Haven been blogging for a long time. Too many things going on at a time.

I just attended a friend's wedding last weekend. I was helping out as her keyboardist and her emcee for the dinner as well. Believe it or not, I can't differentiate moose with hair spray. I remembered I just grab any that I could find at the convenient stall during the week. My hair became so still and hard after spraying that and I had a super hard time trying to wash it off that night. Not forgetting spending some money on the make up which was quite well done but I guess the tone was too fair for me. In addition to that another sum of money for my medical fee for the next day I was home being a merlion. I vomited some greenish stuffs in the morning and after consulting the doctor and consumed some medication, I continued to be a merlion till evening. I was puking just right outside the toilet doorstep, couldn't make it in time for the correct place to puke. Poor me, still had to clean up the mess after that. At the end of the day, I had to re-visit the doctor for a jab to stop the vomiting.

School just started last week. I'm liking it. Tuesday lesson is more interesting than Wednesday class. My lecturer is pretty experienced. I love her lesson. I can even imitate her! Wednesday is more boring and worse still, my lecturer is from China! Not that I have anything against them, but half of the time I really don't understand what she was trying to say and we are her first class. That means, she has no experience in teaching! I need to work doubly hard for this module. Quizzes are coming, group projects are starting and I'm seeing the deadline. Why do I have this feeling that my weekends will be burnt?

Work is piling up. This time round more CBD areas (means more ERP, parking rates are super high blah blah..) and more hospitals. From G... Hospital in town, to C... Hospital in the east, to N... Hospital in the west. Coverage in the mortuary room? You must be kidding!?
Anyway, there bound to have some idiots in the workplace. I wonder if this guy served his NS. Didn't his PC tell him to go through the proper channel flow of command? You don't go to your OC or CO as and when you like or when you feel like complaining/bitching/blah blah. You may try and see what you will get, mind you, even Mr. Lee got into trouble.
I haven't bitch a person so badly before. Yah even if I don't work well with you, I'll try to complete whatever is needed to be done.

He emailed me about details for meeting to get to site, putting this mail as a high importance mail and CC to my boss. CC MY BOSS? I don't know what he is thinking. Email bosses at 1am, email sent to higher authorities and by-passing his immediate boss. He is giving everyone trouble and asking everyone for help.

Rule of thumb: 1. Don't make your problem become my problem. 2. I will help if you ask, provided you try your best too. 3. Stay away from such people.

Time for bed.

*.* My trip to Singapore Flyer *.*

My first time to Singapore Flyer. Purpose was to be able to get a close and good view of the fireworks at the National Day Parade (NDP) Rehearsal and dinner at Popeye.

Chicken and Seafood Combo.
The bun there is really special. I actually prefer it to be sweet rather than salty.
It is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside.
The chicken meat is less oily compared to other places.

Catjun Fries: Superb
Left to Right: Coleslaw, mashed potato.
Very special taste.
I like it.

The very cute spoon-fork.
After dinner and walking around we were about to head home.
After some time, this was what happened:

YES! I went up and took a ride in the capsule! It came quite as a surprise.

Let the photos speak for itself:

A photo taken when it started moving as I went in.
Looking up in the capsule.
This is where the NDP is. They were packing up to go home.
This was just one quarter of the ride.
This was where I was almost reaching the highest point looking down.
Yes the highest point of the flyer!
How can I forget about the inside of where I was?
It can contain 28 people. Pretty big.
Oh there were two other couples in the same capsule as we were.
And me posing in there of course.
And not forgetting the one who surprised me and made my day.

Thank you.. =)

*.* Sentosa! *.*

I went Underwater World today! It was so tiring, I went there for work purpose. I had to comb the area but I also had an eye-opening experience to the restricted area that is above the huge tank. As I walked past the huge tank, I was wondering if the sharks will jump out like how it was shown in the movies, or something suck me down into the tank... I saw a handsome muscular guy who just wore his swimming trunks and passed me by, my heart was thumping super fast. I saw many of them just dive into the water to either feed the fishes or clean up the tank with a huge vacuum cleaner.

Oh I fed stingrays! They were so cute and they come like a sucker. Opps, not supposed to say it but I had a OTOT session after finishing my work. It had been a super long time since I last went to underwater world.

The engineer was so helpful. He was finding my antenna, our equipments and teaching me about fishes too. By the way, the Dolphin Lagoon is going to shift to just right beside the Underwater World. I hope I can get a chance to go in for free when they shift. I haven't seen any pink dolphins yet!

Maybe it's time to change my job.. 7 months bonus is pretty tempting..

*.* What a mess.. *.*

This happened last week when I came home one day after work. To my horror it was:

The whole house was messed up with tissue paper and pieces of paper from god-knows-where.

Can you find the culprit who did it?

..............

And the innocent look again. Poor me I had to clean up the whole house!

Oh look what I found on my colleague's desk! I thought it was quite cute and funny. I laughed when I saw this.

Toodles.

*.* Not again.. *.*

It's one of those moment again where you just need to hog the printer and the non-stop printing process just goes on for the whole day. Pretty stupid to see a new printer just right beside the old one yet can't be used. Finally I made the opening ceremony to be the first to use it today.

I cannot imagine how many trees I've killed today. 4 rims of A4 and 2 rims of A3 size paper. My colleague used all the whole of A3 stock and I even had to resort to buying A3 paper during lunch break! I don't know what kind of job I'm doing now. Anyway, I cannot believe that Clementi Central doesn't sell a single rim of A3 paper. I had to make a trip to IMM to find them. HR was so worried that we might just print until the company go bankrupt and quickly gave us each our own password instead of using a shared account.

The whole round of punching holes and filing them will be another hassle.

Paper cut still hurts the most..

*.* Short and sweet.. *.*

'Life is short. Make it shorter. Join the Army' -Unknown

Heard it from someone. I think to some extend it's pretty true. Maybe I should drop that idea.

I'm working more, work is piling up.
I hope and I'm keeping my fingers cross that I don't have to travel overseas to do some site surveys - least not in the next 6 months.
I'm getting lesser money (Where did they go to?)
I'm sleeping earlier and earlier-after 12mn means early (I'm blogging now, what do you think?)
I'm not sleeping well.
I'm thinking more.
I'm getting more pimples.
I'm eating less.
I'm running more.
I'm getting lazier to go out with friends.
I'm not updating and reading blogs.
I'm missing people.
I'm starting school soon.
I'm getting stress.
I'm getting old..

*.* Sigh.. *.*

It's Midnight. That means it's Monday already. If I don't sleep by 11pm on a Sunday night I'll hit by a serious bug call Monday blues that will cause my body to not function properly for the whole day.

I can't sleep. I'm really tired after a 4km plus run then worked through the night till 4am and woke up at 9am to go to church.

I don't know what I'm getting myself into. If everything fails again, I don't know if I can survive for the next 10 years. Why didn't they tell me the truth and the details? I didn't ask because all I wanted to do was to help them in every little way I could. It's a great disappointment.

I guess he hasn't really seen me cry so badly after knowing each other for so many years. I couldn't hold my tears after such a long day at my aunt's place, hearing and knowing that things just not going as it should be. Thanks for being there and lending me a listening ear.

*.* Traffic jam again.. *.*

It's not making any sense to me anymore. It took me one hour to get from my house to Orchard, considering I left my house at 8am. I paid $6 for getting through ERP gantries and there it was, heavy traffic jam.

It then took me another one hour to get home from my office. Mandai had a small accident, the car in front wasn't event scratched!

Goodness, I felt like today is my doom's day. I almost had 2 accidents in a day.
1. I was traveling to Zion Road from Tiong Bahru Road and it was my fault to make a sharp abrupt left turn. The loud screeching sound wasn't my car that skid, it was the cab who jammed brake on time just not to hit me. The chase followed by a loud and long horn made me almost feel like digging a hole in the ground to bury myself.

2. Mandai and the stupid car and I was about to filter left and right immediately and someone just cut my lane. Almost hit that car.

What's wrong with the traffic and drivers these days? I think I'm too tired after yesterday's 3.5km run. My whole body is aching!

*.* Bitching session.. *.*

It's been a super long time since we last meet up and BITCHED about everything at McDonald after a super funny movie. -SUICIDE Helpline: Call 1800-Don't-Do-It-

Yes EVERYTHING! You see, it was from the people you like to dislike, love to hate, circle of friends, God's calling, remembering the good-old-days and wondered what happened next and where it went wrong, the disappointments, the anger, the frustrations..

Woohoo! I seemed to have bottom some of these for a long long long time until I can let it out all at one go and know that actually I'm not alone. Some stuffs like the deepest darkest secret can be shared to couple of people who really know you for a long long time.

Well, it seems like tomorrow is a weekend for me but it's not. It's almost 3am and I'm still up. Just another medical check up and it's an official day for me to declare it a holiday for me.
