*.* So touched.. *.*

I cannot expressed the warmth in my heart when I overheard one of the girls who told her mother the things that I said to her some weeks back. That proved that I made a difference in her life and my words do mean something to her.

I cannot believe that girl trusted me to tell me something so secretive that no one has known. It was after much probing that she told me the truth as she trusted me.

Today's Parent Visit was quite a good one. I know God place me here for a reason.
Whenever girls ask me why I chose to work in SGH, I know my answer very well: My passion is to work with them and though they suck my blood. I know I will endure it and to see them back to school as a different and better person.

*.* So pissed!! *.*

I was walking out from SGH to the bus stop and 1 empty854 with the extended carriage just went past me. I waited for a good 25 minutes and 1 bus came. It was the normal bus and was super packed! The worse thing was.. The bus didn't stop for me! I was the only one in the bus stop. BIG SIGH~

Fast forward the story: I took a cab home.

My head is spinning with phone calls and noisy. I had a crazily hectic day.

*.* QT for today.. *.*

Revelations 2:10 "Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life."

Context of this verse: God wrote a message to the church in Smyrna.

God is telling people in Smyrna to remain faithful even in their suffering because God is in control and his promises are reliable. Jesus NEVER say that being faithful we will avoid sufferings and persecution. Rather, we must be faithful IN our sufferings. Only then our faith prove to be genuine.

*.* Lesson of the day *.*

"Some things are made to be left unsaid. Once said, it cuts like a double-edged sword right into the heart." -me..

*.* *.*

It has been a good month. Yes I'm surviving well in the Girls' Home. I do have problems at work of course. Decided to let it pass and move on.

Beginning to love my job and really been exciting going to work everyday. I always remember hearing this during the Ophir training - expect the unexpected. It's the same at work - expect the unexpected.

God has been real good to me. I am reminded to carry my cross everyday and love like how He loves me.
