I've been working hard and training hard for Mount Ophir climbing. The first long hike that I went with the team was a 30km hike from Chong Pang all the way to Kranji MRT to Lim Chu Kang Jetty and back to Kranji MRT again. It was fun at the same time tough. It's a 'mind over body' kind of thing. We sang a lot, we encouraged each other a lot.

Each time I go for training with the group, it always contains a suspense. A suspense to where we are going to train, a suspense of what we are going to do, what kind of training we are going to do together? It's really fun doing it together because of the laughter and 'over-worked state' of mind where people will start talking nonsense.

Of course group training is not enough training for ourselves. We need to do our own training too. I've been climbing stairs 2-3 times a week. It's more tiring doing it alone and it takes more determinations and more will power to overcome it.

I hope I can really go to Mount Ophir to take a good look at the submit. I heard each of us will be carrying 40-45kg of load on our bag. I can't imagine how I'm going to do that but I believe with more training, I can do it.

Looking forward to the next group training.

*.* He is always there... *.*

When I am an infant:
He feeds me

When I am a toddler:
He carries me wherever I want to go

When I am in pre-school:
He walks in front of me to encourage me

When I am in primary school:
He walks beside me, holding my little hands

When I am a teenager:
He runs with me

When I am a young lady:
He walks behind me, making sure I don't go too far

When I get older:
I believe He will still walk beside me, taking me for a stroll
Carrying me through as I face more challenges ahead...

*.* *.*

As I listen to this song "Wings of the Dawn", these words just keep recalling in my brain that there is only One God and He is in control of everything. I cannot hide from Him. There is no place on earth that I can hide. My coming in and going out, wherever I go, wherever I rest, God watch over me carefully, with His love and care.

Even before I can speak forth anything from my mouth, He knew what was in my heart. He is forever watching me, protecting me and anointing me. Isn't this too amazing, too awesome that that kind of love the God has given me, I simply cannot understand with the little wisdom that I have, neither can I comprehend it but to accept it with gratitude.

It's going to be another hard time for me. It's going to be many more hurdles to jump. I don't know what will happen, I don't know where to go, I just want to trust Him and follow Him all the days of my life.

At times when I walk in front of Him, I am reminded to slow down, at times when I walk astray from Him, He will bring me back to the path that He has paved for me.

Father how much more can I ask from You? Would You let me walk behind You closely? Forgive me for my sins and bring me back again...
