*.* 1st ever OPSS Alumni Dinner *.*

Last Sunday I attended the very first ever OPSS Alumni Dinner. I can't believe Sec 1 was 10 years ago! We were all so green and innocent. And of course along the way we grow up, learn new things and we established new friendship. WooHoo!! 10 years of friendship!! Still counting!

I'm so glad that the juniors really grown up and are doing well in their school. So glad to see all the teachers who taught me in my secondary school days. Except the younger teachers who left much earlier and didn't teach in OPSS anymore. Our 4A1 mummy is 58 this year and she is going to retire in a few years time! Yes that's how old the teachers are already. Grey hair and had fatigue shown on their faces.

It all started off with the 'as usual' school song. Yes that was pretty classic. The only thing that left me with a little disappointed was our principal didn't turn up for the dinner. He did a video to address us and he was the virtual Guest-of-Honour. But his words were personal and friendly. Reminded me of my days in OPSS.

I miss school so much now.

*.* Unspoken Expectations *.*

It had been a couple of roller coaster weeks.

It has probably been too much of unspoken expectations that I had of you. I'm sorry to EXPECT you to be perfect (at least to my standard). I'm sorry that I EXPECT you to know. I EXPECT you to be what I want you to be.

I don't know what is going through your mind. I EXPECT you to tell me the least when I ask.

It probably did not come across to me that all this has added stress to you and causing you some distress.

I am currently reading a book and I quite agree with what the author said. He said that many times we treat strangers better than our family members. When a stranger step on our toes accidentally, we are more forgiving than our family member who does that to us. When our family member does that we probably would exclaim if they have watch where they are going.

It's relatively true even in a relationship because two has come so close to regard as family. Even best friend has to go through this process, inevitably.

I guess I probably step into this process, unknowingly. It's time to be more forgiving and loving

*.* Welcome 2010! *.*

Count down party at Chervons last night. It was quite fun though the food really sucks. Ben and I had fun taking photos and having fun with his friends. We had like hundreds of poppers and we 'poped' non-stop for a good 5 minutes! We welcome 2010 with noise, laughter and a kiss! I can't wait for what God has installed for us in year 2010. It's a new beginning!
