To be a testimony of Christ and set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity (1 Tim. 4:12). Do whatever is true, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, whatever is excellent and praiseworthy to God (Phili 4:8).

It's been a long time since I last blogged. Finally there is no more exams, no more presentation, no more report and no more school! (At least for the next half of the year) Finally this long waited day had arrived where I get my diploma. These 3 years had been pretty long and short too. It's the annual Chinese New Year. Every year the same, eat and sleep and collect red packets. Well, I think I received a big harvest this year. Not too bad. I got to start work soon. It's sinking into me that I got to do the same boring job for the next 5 months. If it's not because of money, I wouldn't want to start work so soon. My weekly mondayblues will start soon.. Wednesday, 7 February 2007 *.* Punk... *.*
It was an eventful Saturday. I had a very fun car wash with my sister. The two of us carried a pail each and starting washing my car. It was sure a great achievement as my dirty black car became a clean black car. It's still black for your information. We went to TomSum place and had dinner. We ordered Canadian Pizza and watched some VCds. We were all waiting for the best time to come so that we can carry on with our big plan to punk Nat. We kept mum about the whole punk plan and we waited till our dear friend Paul came at almost 11pm and we started our evil plans. Daphne, Paul and me was in the house waiting for the rest to come back so that Paul could hold Nat from the back and I would blind fold him. Nat struggled a little and finally he surrendered and just sat there. We applied white face powder on his face and I applied some Nutella chocolate spread on the other half of his face. He ate some so Gillian and I continue to spread to his calve. Emmie started asking all sorts of questions and whatever he answered whether it was right or wrong he would get something from us. First we gave him Joash's milk = Sharon Jie's breast milk (-Puke-) and den we put some nutella in and it became chocolate milk. Sharon Jie came with raw garlic, silver fish and fermented bean curd while on the other hand we tried to be nice to him by giving him pure green tea with no other ingredients yet. But Sharon Jie still put in some silver fish and others to enhance the green tea taste. After all that, we put him in the living room alone in darkness. He went to wash up and we decided to punk Paul. He struggled so hard that Daryl fell right on his butt. He was tearing after that when Sharon Jie decided just to trim his brows. After all the punk, we all received one big news from Emmie. I thought she planned to punk all of us initially but it was not. Her family had decided to leave next month and be a permanent resident there. I was not thinking right, past my bed time and couldn't process much. As usual, that night we slept at almost 5am and went to church as usual the next day. I wondered how I survived through that day even after a long meeting and we went back to their house to watch the final match between Singapore and Thailand. And yes, Singapore won! I'm so proud of them. Though I really felt that they didn't play as well compared to last Wednesday's match. Finally when I get home on Sunday night, everything sank into my heart. I felt really sad. People are leaving. Close friends. I never know when will I ever get to see Nat again and our sentosa tanning, shopping, hangouts with Emmie. This morning was a rather sad morning. I didn't get to see Nat off at the airport because I was in school. I spoke with him over the phone and bid my last farewell to him. But we sure had many great memories and fellowship together. I'm going to miss him. I know there are more to come.. posted by Michelle at

Thursday, 1 February 2007 *.* Go Singapore GOAL!! Ole ole... *.*
I went to watch soccer last night at the National Stadium. It was the ASEAN cup championship game in which Thailand and Singapore play for their winning cup. I was my first time at a 'LIVE' soccer match. I should say that those with weak heart shouldn't go and just watch it at home because it was really exciting that your heart would just run with the ball. There were many there and it was like a national day parade at the national stadium, filled with thousands of people and packed. Thank God for the windy night, no rain at all just very windy. Singapore's supporters were many and were loud. However, they were quite crude with their language. I really don't understand why. Anyway, I like our very own Kallang wave, though it could be pretty distracting as I wanted to watch the match. Thailand players didn't have much of a sportsmanship I felt. It was a fair game after all. Your goal, you win. Not yours then work harder. Singapore players were rough, yellow cards were flying everywhere. I think they played better than last Saturday's match (Singapore vs Malaysia). Referee - I really don't know what to say but I think he was kind of blind. If only he had been more persistent in his decision making and there wouldn't be any much delay. Singapore team - Wish you all the best for Sunday's match. Be sure to come back with good results. posted by Michelle at
